Chattanooga Alumni Chapter of Sigma Chi — 2025 Year in Review
What a year for the Chattanooga Alumni Chapter of Sigma Chi. Our brotherhood showed up, served boldly, and strengthened the bonds that make our chapter one of the best in the nation.
Our First Friday lunch tradition continued to thrive, bringing brothers from across the region together month after month for food, fellowship, and genuine connection.
We kicked off Spring with a laid‑back Cigars & Bourbon Night, followed by our first annual Easter Event in March supporting Centerstone and the Maclellan Homeless Shelter. More than 40 children and their families enjoyed a full afternoon of food, music, relay races, and a joyful Easter Egg Hunt at Jefferson Park in Chattanooga. Special shout out to our Delta Theta active brothers that showed up in numbers!
As summer approached, brothers and Little Sister alums teamed up for a Back‑to‑School drive for Centerstone Foster Care, providing new backpacks and school supplies for 40 students from kindergarten through high school. So much fun to stuff the backpacks and then to see the pictures of the kids as they headed out with new backpacks – ready for the new school year!
In October, we gathered for a special CAC Recognition Evening, celebrating:
• Our chapter receiving the Outstanding Alumni Chapter Award
• Alumni Stan Stout being honored with the Seven Lights Award
• The inaugural Chris Davis Distinguished Alum Award, presented to Joannie Davis and family
November brought a rainy but spirited 103rd Annual Golf Tournament, proving once again that Sigma Chis don’t melt — we rally. Thanks to all that either participated or donated to this event!
We closed the year with our Holiday Giving Campaign, hosting a Christmas gathering to donate stocking stuffers and financial support to Centerstone Foster Care, along with $7500 in contributions to local organizations including the Chatt Foundation (Community Kitchen), UTC (Baskette Scholarship & Emergency Student Fund), and Orange Grove.
Exiting 2025, CAC donated over $12K to local charities and organizations across the year.
As we look ahead to 2026, we remain committed to serving the Chattanooga community and supporting our alumni through friendship, generosity, and the timeless values of Sigma Chi.
In Hoc Signo Vinces
